However, adventurers need to know some basic things before they can start out to explore the world they are living in.

A note in advance: Before exploring a new area or dungeon it is a good idea to ask a veteran player what to expect. Remember you could get lost or run into the arms of some unfriendly creature!

a) Wilderness There are many settlements, but for the most part they are nothing but isolated outposts of civilisation in a land that otherwise is wild and unforgiving. The wilderness is full of dangers, and even though there are some well-kept roads travelling is always risky. The following is a list of things you may encounter on your travels.

Blueberry Bushes: The popular Tibia blueberries grow on these bushes. To pick berries simply right-click on the bush and select "Use". Grass: While grass is not as well suited for travelling as roads are, your character will be able to move reasonably fast on it. Jungle Grass: Highly grown jungle grass is impassable. However, adventurers can remove it using machetes. Loose Stone Piles: You should watch out for loose stone piles, since they are usually reliable indicators that there is a hidden entrance to a dungeon. You can open the entrance by using a shovel on the stone pile. Roads: Roads are built for travelling, and on no ground will your character move faster than on a road. Sand: Not surprisingly, sand is quite common in desert areas. It is fairly good to travel on. Snow: While your characters are quite immune against its cold, snow will slow them down considerably. Swamp: The eastern regions of Tibia are full of treacherous swamps. Swamps cannot be entered, so you will have to find a way around them. Trees: A common sight in Tibia. It is not possible to cut down trees. Water: Even though there is a special underwater area it is not possible to move on water fields, so to cross rivers or other bodies of water you will have to find a bridge or perhaps a ferry. Be careful when handling items close to water, because any items thrown into it are lost forever. It is possible to fish in water fields by using a fishing rod onto them. However, note that fishing may not work with certain water fields, or if a fish has recently been caught in the field you are fishing in. Wheat: Wheat is cultivated in many areas on Tibia. Once it is ripe it can be harvested by using a scythe. A bunch of wheat can be used to bake the delicious Tibia bread. b) Dungeons The world of Tibia is ancient, and many different civilisations have left their mark on it. There are mysterious ruins and long-forgotten dungeons everywhere, and these remnants of past glory are now ideal hideouts for the many dangerous creatures that roam the land. Dungeons come in many forms, but there are one or two things players should know. Pay attention to the ground you are moving on, because dungeon floors are often muddy, and your character will be much slower than usual when moving on such ground. Also, note that dungeon floors can conceal secret holes. Use a pick axe on the floor to find out if there are secret openings. To go down a hole move your character onto it. However, note that you need a rope if you wish to climb up a hole. Place your character on the floor next to a rope spot and use a rope on it. Note that it is also possible to rope up other characters or creatures from above if they are placed below a hole.

c) Transportation Even though the Tibian oceans are notoriously difficult to sail there are some fearless captains who brave the treacherous waters. These weather-beaten men of the sea will take you to almost any place for a hefty fee, provided you are a premium player. If you are on a ship from or to the Ice Islands and happen to arrive in a large crowd of Tibia adventurers, Buddel and his colleagues Svenson, Carlson and Nielson can bring you to a random nearby place outside their ship. Just greet them and ask for a kick. Note that this does not work in Svargrond. Also, there is a flying carpet service which is famous for its convenient travels and the unrivalled speed of transportation. Unfortunately, though, this service is only available in very few places. Finally, there are rumours of an underground connection between the dwarven city of Kazordoon and the small island of Cormaya. It is said this service relies on mysterious dwarven technology, but as of yet, no hard evidence has been found that could prove the truth of these reports. Kazordoon, however, has a very unique transportation system available for all Tibia adventurers. Within the city, little ore wagons serve the 5 most important locations: depot, shopping quarter, temple, steam boat and main gate. Once you have paid your weekly fare at Lokur in the depot, hop in the correct wagon and get quickly to the destination of your choice. Thanks for your reading, and hope this section will help you to understand much more about the world of Tibia.

About the Author

moneytibia.com is an provide superior tibia money or tibia gold, Cheap Tibia power leveling , tibia items and tibia accounts.Welcome you can just go to have a look there!

Eastlake Homes And Foreclosures

Eastlake Homes And Foreclosures by Rob Presley
in Family (submitted 2010-01-24)

Eastlake is a very well planned "master planned" community in a large easterly, previously undeveloped portion of the southern part of San Diego. It is part of Chula Vista and consists of over 3,000 acres, contains roughly 9,000 homes, and has many new and modern community features. Eastlake is a brand new town on the edge of San Diego with new everything built by numerous residential and commercial builders over the last decade or so.

Making Eastlake homes unique and highly desirable is the closeness of the many new full blown and unique recreation, shopping, and schools in the immediate area. Eastlake is home to a lot of the "quality of life" features you want in a community. Within, what feels like a 2 mile radius on Eastlake's newer 3 lane main roadways lies the ARCO year round Olympic Training Center, The Eastlake Shores man made lake (large enough for paddle boats and shoreline fishing), The Eastlake Greens Golf Course, The Otay Lake (large enough for boat fishing), The Otay Ranch Town Center Shopping Mall and Entertainment Center built and opened in 2006 and contains over 120 upscale retail stores, restaurants, boutiques, and a state of the art (and comfort) AMC Theaters.

Eastlake home owners are by enlarge families and also appreciate the 3 new elementary schools, new high school, and many new and large parks with recreation centers, sports fields, dog parks, horse trails, and more located throughout the Eastlake communities.

Most Eastlake homes were built in the past 7 years including some homes that are still being built today. Numerous new home builders took part in developing Eastlake and they built mostly similar "mini-mansion" type 2,000-4,000 Sq. Ft. homes with stucco exteriors, tile roofs, and upgrades throughout.

However there is dark side to Eastlake. When the housing downturn struck it hit Eastlake homes very quickly. Most of the Eastlake home owners had recently just bought their home, essentially at what turned out to be at or around the peak of the market. Many foreclosures in Eastlake occurred quickly in the initial stage of the housing downturn and it had a domino effect creating many more Eastlake foreclosures. Prices were lowered by healthy amounts quickly, more significantly than any other area of San Diego homes with any where near the same quality of master planned community and new infrastructure features.

For the past 3 years the vast majority of the homes for sale in Eastlake have been foreclosures or short sales priced 30-40% below their peak values. Eastlake currently has home prices that when combined with today's interest rates make it truly cheaper to own than to rent the same home in most cases. In addition to Eastlake homes and foreclosures being priced at numbers that are cheaper to own than to rent, they are also priced below reasonable building costs and are also cheaper to buy than to build yourself.

Because of its unique circumstances all the stars are aligned for 2009 and later Eastlake home and foreclosure buyers as Eastlake now offers great bargains at today's prices. Because of these factors values have more than stabilized in Eastlake and have now been stable for at least the last 12+ months.

Combine the new home value, the new master planned community and all it's features value, and the cheaper than rent home ownership costs together and you have a winning formula for a home purchase. If you are looking for a great place to live and raise a family and want a home priced under $500 in a great San Diego community then visit Eastlake, look at the homes and community, and crunch the numbers and you'll likely put Eastlake high on your list. There isn't much down side to owning a home for less than the cost of rent and Eastlake foreclosure homes may likely turn out to be one of the best San Diego Home buying opportunities around.

About the Author

Rob Presley is a 20 year San Diego Real Estate Expert with over a billion dollars of San Diego Real Estate Sales, Financing, and Construction experience.

To view all Eastlake Homes, Foreclosure listings, and Sales Statistics visit: http://www.prestigerealtysandiego.com/Premier/branches/southbay/eastlake/Eastlake.html

Costa Rica Ecotourism, Magnificent Corcovado National Park

Costa Rica Ecotourism, Magnificent Corcovado National Park by Victor Krumm
in Travel (submitted 2010-01-24)

Interested in Costa Rica ecotourism?

There is a little known gem called Corcovado.

Know of it? No? Well, neither have most other people.

Corcovado National Park (Parque Nacional Corcovado) may be the Amazon of Costa Rica. With good reason. The little park, merely 42,000 hectares (about 100,000 acres) in size, is explored on the Osa Peninsula, situated along the south Pacific shoreline of Costa Rica, close to the Panama border.

This is the largest remaining primary forest in Latin America.

When Captain Christopher explored the Americas in 1502 he sailed the Caribbean from Mexico south on to a land he called 'Costa Rica', the 'rich coast'. For more than five centuries the name has remained.

Tremendous tropical forests blanketed the area from the Atlantic to the Pacific back then and there were such large numbers of marine turtles that sometimes seafarers, lost in the fog, found land by means of listening to the sounds of tens of thousands of paddling in to nesting beaches.

Sadly, the passage of 500 years hasn't been kind to either the forests or animals and today the majority of the primary forests from Mexico to South America have been cut down or simply burned. Happily, Costa Rica had the foresight to preserve Corcovado.

Columbus never visited Corcovado. The first Western traveler to see it was Sir Frances Drake.

Name strike a bell? He is the sea captain who demolished the Spanish Armada in 1588 and protected England from Spain. A few years before that famous encounter, he dropped anchor just north of the Osa Peninsula in a beautiful area today named after him: Drake Bay. The bay serves as the gateway to Corcovado.

Despite the fact that Corcovado is extremely little, merely about 20 miles in length and 8 miles wide----less than half the size of New York City--- it might be, as National Georgraphic says: the most biologically intense place on the planet.

Consider this: They're 400 various species of birds crammed within this teeny place. Compare that to the U.S. which has approximately 900.

The most significant remaining Latin America population of the magnificent, and increasingly scarce, scarlet macaws is still here.

The Corcovado mammal species account for 10% of the varieties of mammals found in all of the Americas and they exist on just .000101777 percent of the earth's land. Additionally, 116 kinds of reptiles and amphibians and 139 different species of mammals.

To put this park's size in context, it would fit it into American's Yellowstone National Park at least 22 times!

Yet, it hosts six types of wild cats, among them the impressive jaguar and puma.

For anybody who is a fan of amphibians (I am talking about frogs here) Corcovado is really a fantastic place to find the glass frog, poison-arrow frogs, and the rare red-eyed tree frog.

It is also one of the few places in Costa Rica you will find squirrel monkeys.

You might look for fishing bats hunting for fish above the estuaries and rivers in the evening. This park is believed to be one of the remaining stands of the Harpy Eagle which is quite possibly on its way to extinction in Costa Rica.

At Corcovado, you will discover kilometer after kilometer of apparently deserted beaches. I say apparently because, though they look deserted, in fact these beaches provide nesting grounds for enormous leatherback turtles (weighing more than half a ton), Pacific Ridley, green and hawksbill sea turtles.

Tapirs are abundant and provide prey for ferocious jaguars and crocodiles. The footprints of these large cats are frequently seen along the muddy trails around the Corcovado Lagoon and they may also be sighted frequently. Carry your camera and stay alert!

Corcovado is one of the greatest tropical rainforests remaining. On your Costa Rica vacation, you will see why it is referred to as the Amazon of Costa Rica since it is as extraordinary as any rain forest in Brazil, Indonesia, or Malaysia.

Torrential rains fall in the area from April to December so the best time to tour is in the dry months from January to April.

About the Author

Victor C. When visiting there are several techniques that you might like to try out to increase your catch rate and improve your overall style. Lake Toho Largemouth Bass Lake Toho is a perfect habitat for largemouth bass and this fact has been scientifically proven time and again over the years. It covers a total area of 18, 810 acres and provides bass fishing action throughout so you can take your time and find the perfect spot. There are numerous spots that you might want to try out, including North Steer beach, Brown's Point and Goblet's Cove.

The flow there is awesome so the bass are quick and incredibly lively from the early spring to early fall. You can also get some good bass fishing in winter as well. In fact, Lake Toho is the bass fishing enthusiast's paradise all year round, which is why it does tend to get busy on a regular basis. Useful Lake Toho Techniques If you want to go fishing at Lake T9oho and achieve a good catch rate then the first thing you have to do is choose the right baits and lures to attract the largemouth bass in the first place.

Plastic worms, rattling crankbaits, spinnerbaits and jigs tend to work really well in the waters of Lake Toho. They tend to attract the bass and work well no matter what the conditions on any given day. Texas rigs and Carolina rigs will also give your line an advantage in the waters. However, the way you use them will make all the difference. You ma want to use plastic worms to fish the native hydrilla and other vegetation in the early spring as the bass will hide amongst it. Floating the plastic worm along the grass edges and skimming it in amongst the vegetation will really give your catch rate a boost.

However, in summer you might want to try the eight man made fish attractors that are located in the deeper areas of the lake during summer. Bass will head deeper to avoid the heat of the sun so fishing these areas can be incredibly productive. Fishing deep but fast is always advisable there. Many novice fishermen do not take the time to fully prepare for each and every fishing trip. The most experienced fishermen carefully plan out each and every fishing trip.

The best fishermen will carefully research the area in which they are going to fish. The novice fishermen will head out without knowing what they are up against. This is why the experienced fisherman will always catch more fish than a novice fisherman. Part of being a successful fisherman is determining where the best area to fish is.

Any Bass fisherman realizes that Wisconsin is one of the best regions to fish for Bass. It is best to fish for Bass in the summer months because they like the warm water. At the same time it is still a great region to fish for bass year round. It also helps if you can use special types of bait when fishing for Bass in the state of Wisconsin. This type of bait should closely resemble if not be identical to the type of food that bass fish like to eat. Bass fish like to eat smaller fish that include sea flounder as well as small insects and some bugs. You might want to consider casting a light out onto the top of the water. This will attract small insects and bugs which will in turn attract smaller fish such as sea flounder. This will then attract Bass to the light and allow you to catch more fish than you can handle. The type of tackle that you use is also important when you are Bass fishing. Many novice fishermen do not realize that the type of tackle that they use is extremely important. The fact of the matter is that the type of tackle you use is can determine how many fish you are going to catch in a day. The type of tackle you should buy should look similar to the type of food that Bass fish eat. This will trick bass fish into biting at your hook. The best type of bait to use is live bait. The reason for this is that it will trick the Bass fish into thinking the bait is a regular fish. The fact of the matter is that it is a regular fish! The only difference is that it will be attached to your hook. If at all possible you should try and catch sea flounders so that you can use them at a later time to help you catch Bass fish.

About the Author

Dan Eggertsen is a fishing researcher and enthusiast who is committed to providing the best bass fishing information possible. For hundreds of years people have been flocking to the palm lined streets and golden sandy beaches for there summer breaks. The Riviera is made up of the towns and villages in Torbay in south Devon and can boast 22 miles of stunning coastline.

The largest town in the Riviera is Torquay. Built on seven hills over looking the English Channel the town leads do to a busy harbour. The town became extremely popular in the Victorians times and as a result fine Victorian buildings dominate the town creating its own charm and style. Stunning views across the bay are found at many points in the town. The town is famous for its palm tress and is one of the only towns in Britain to grow them. The reasons the palms thrive in Torquay is because of its geography, the combination of its location plus the hills on which it is built and surrounds it, helps create a warmer climate than the rest of the UK allowing the palms to flourish and creating a Mediterranean atmosphere. In fact this Mediterranean like atmosphere is where the English Riviera got its name. The rich Victorians who made the town popular likened Torquay and the area to there holidays on the French Rivera and so christened it the English Rivera in a homage to its French equivalent.

Paignton is often regarded as the second town of the English Riviera. The town is very popular with families who love the five beaches that Paignton has to offer, many of which are long and sandy, perfect for building sandcastles or just taking it easy. The town has many great other family attraction. One of the most popular is Paignton Zoo which is home to many amazing and wonderful animals. Here you can not only marvel at the animals but you can learn more about them too and how important it is to try and preserve their natural habitat in the wild.

Brixham is a fishing town where still to this day life revolves around the busy harbour. The town is full of narrow streets, inns, craft shops and art galleries and has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere all of its own. Take a trip to the heritage museum to learn more about the maritime past and step on to a replica of Sir Francis Drake's Golden Hind. The coast surrounding Brixham is well worth a look especially the nearby Berry head with its nature reserve with many rare birds and plants.

About the Author

This article was written on behalf of H & H Caravan Park Devon your Devon Family Holiday Park.

Central Oregon Coast- Weekend Trip

Central Oregon Coast- Weekend Trip by Rayna Hahn

If you are just coming into the coast for the weekend,or it's your first visit, there are many things to do around the Newport, Oregon area.

1) The Oregon Coast Aquarium is just south of the Newport Bridge. There are good outside exhibits with sea otters, sea lions, harbor seals and more. There is also a seabird aviary with murres, puffins, and oystercatchers. The Passages of the Deep is the indoor display where you get to walk through an acrylic tunnel with sea life all around you. They also have an ever changing indoor display with the current exhibit called "Oddwater", which showcases strange looking ocean critters. The aquarium is a must see for people of all ages.

2) The Yaquina Estuary Hike is located between the aquarium and the Hatfield Marine Science Center. It is a great 1 mile long trail along Yaquina Bay which goes right through the habitat area for many types of birds and wildlife including Egrets, Blue Herons and Kingfishers as well as some of the same birds in the aquarium aviary, but in their natural setting.

3) You can also walk from here at the aquarium or park in the Rogue Brewery parking lot under the bridge and walk out onto the pier where there is another great view of the bay and the channel and get to interact with all types of people fishing and crabbing.

4) From the Rogue Brewery Parking lot, walk under the bridge and out to the South Jetty for even more bird, seal and boat watching. You can see the boats coming in and out of the channel as well as the waves crashing on the North Jetty across the channel. Once in awhile, surfers even ride the long, low waves in on the North side.

5) If you cross the Newport Bridge, just on the Northwest side, there is a state park that has the original Yaquina Bay lighthouse that was built before the Yaquina Head lighthouse on the north end of town. It was only open for a few years and has great tours of the keepers house for a small donation.

6) You can walk from the lighthouse parking lot, or try to find a parking spot at the Old Town Newport. We love to walk as you get a great view of the channel and bridge from the North. At the bayfront there are many interesting shops, art galleries and restaurants including the world famous Mo's and their clam chowder. This is a great place to spend a few hours shopping, having lunch and finding souvenirs for those left back home. One thing I love about the bay is the Sea Lions who have taken residence at the docks right next to the bayfront aquarium. It's a little smelly, but worth stopping by and observing their behavior close up.

7) Continue North in Newport to Olive Street where Hwy 20 comes in from the east and turn left (west) and head down to the Nye Beach district. You will see the historic street signs and can park just about anywhere. This area has really become a hot spot of Newport in the last few years. There are lots of great shops such as organic clothing, beads, hair salon and spa and some great places for lunch. You definitely want to check out the shops at Nye Beach. I like it because the area is not aimed at the souvenir trinket market like so many other areas and there are good shops for visitors and residents alike.

8) One last stop for your weekend trip and that would be the Yaquina Head Lighthouse just north of town. Turn left at Izzy's pizza and either have an Oregon Coast Passport ready or some cash for the entrance fee. There is a great visitors center that talks about the history of the lighthouse and if you are lucky, the lighthouse itself will be open for tours. There is a long spiral staircase that reaches to the top where you get a peek at the handcrafted Fresnel lens. The guides there are very knowledgeable. When finished touring this historic lighthouse, hike down the steps to the rocky beach area if it's low tide and check out the tide pools. Just remember, these are living creatures and can easily be damaged. Be conscious where you are walking. Have a great Weekend!

About the Author
Rayna Hahn is an Oregon Coast resident who loves to write about the area on her blog: oregoncoast-thingstodo.blogspot.com

Different Kinds Of Toyko Places To Go To

Different Kinds Of Toyko Places To Go To by Jenna Sawin

Tokyo is Japan's wealth and the country's chief city. You all think that I am going to say a bar is the best place to meet people. Not true! A bar is the best place to meet drunk people. Period. If you want to meet nice, friendly, non-drunk people, you have to go to other places. For instance, there are non drunk people at your job, right? If you work in a fairly large company, there are probably people you have not met, so go ahead and introduce yourself.
A little on the shy side? Consider a sports team as a way to break the ice. Sign up for the company softball team or agree to be an organizer for the next fun run. Not only will you be meeting people, you will be viewed as a real team player and that can come in handy when its time to do the next employee evaluations.

If you are self employed or work for a small company, then quit! But seriously, there are still places for you to meet people. Join a club or become active in your neighborhood's groups. Start visiting the local coffee shop, just to hang out. Force yourself to strike up a conversation with at least one person before you are allowed to head back home. Figure out what interests you and talk about it.

If money is not an issue for you, perhaps you could take a guided tour to a place that you have never been. Make sure that you do not get booked on to one of the happy couple type excursions, ask if the travel agent has any singles specific tours. If you do not connect with someone on the trip, at least you can start a conversation with the girl at the photo lab, right?

If you are a parent, get involved with activities at your child's school. Your kid may not like it, but you will be meeting all kinds of people. Can anybody say, soccer moms? If you are not a parent you could still volunteer at youth groups and such, but that might come off as a little creepy to some people, definitely not the impression you want to make on a potential date.

Honestly, you want to know where the best place to meet people is? Wherever there are people. If you are out shopping, go to the sections where your desired target would be. Looking for a woman? Head to the women's department, but do not stand there and watch her shop for a bra. Gee, do I ever hate that! If you are looking for a man, head to a man type section of the store. I once struck up a conversation with a man in the fishing lure section of a well known store. I will let you in on a little secret: I have not interest whatsoever in fishing, but it gave me a great opening line to work with.

Unless you are a hermit, you are surrounded by people at least part of each day. It provides the perfect winter get away for people who wish to escape the poor weather. Rest and relaxation awaits, with the choice of small, friendly beach located hotels to 5 * luxury resorts. There is something to suit every budget. Fantastic beaches and a warm welcome awaits all visitors. No wonder the Gambia enjoys a large volume of visitors who return each year.
An ideal winter sun getaway, temperatures are high and rain is virtually unheard of from November right through to June. During the summer, brief but heavy showers transform The Gambia into a blaze of greens and tropical flowering trees, nevertheless it has grown in popularity with those looking for a tranquil alternative to the crowded resorts of Europe.

The Gambia is one of the smallest countries in Africa, situated on the unspoiled west coast on approximately the same latitude as Barbados. Mostly flat, the country is dominated by the majestic River Gambia from which it takes its name. A sub-tropical climate, fantastic culture, magnificent wide sandy beaches and some of the friendliest people on earth add up to a great holiday destination. The Gambia is not for everyone, as the pace of life is unhurried, but many people get hooked, returning year after year.

Many people think that The Gambia is a destination which is very much hotel based but this is not true. Although nowhere near as large and overdeveloped as you would find in somewhere like, The Canaries, most of the resorts do have a taxi rank, bank and exchange bureaus, telephone centre, supermarkets, craft market, bars and restaurants. The Gambia is generally busier in the winter months than the summer. All resorts are easily accessible and it only takes 20 minutes in a taxi to get from Banjul to Kololi so it is possible to stay in a quiet resort and easily get a taxi to a more lively one.

The liveliest resort is Kololi. The 'strip' as it is known locally, consists of a number of bars and a couple of nightclubs, busy with both locals and tourists. With over 30 restaurants serving a variety of cuisines plus 2 casinos, bank & exchange bureaus, internet cafes and shops. The resort is mainly relaxed during the day but comes to life on an evening through till the early hours.

Another resort popular with European guest is Kotu. This is a developing resort area with a cluster of new bars and restaurants, although it remains more low key than Kololi. There is a nightclub and a few beach barss. The beach is ideal for families as it is flat and sandy. There is also a golf course nearby.

The majority of visitors prefer to spend their days relaxing in the sun, however there are a wide variety of activities ranging from fishing to golf. Some hotels offer sports suchas tennis, volleyball, squash and table tennis. Deap sea fishing and whale watching trips can also be arranged by many hotels. Whether you just want to relax and do very little or be more adventurous and sample all that The Gambia has to offer, the choice is yours.

The Gambia's currency is the Dalasi. This can vary in value alot and is best obtained from the airport on arrival, your hotel, bank or bureau de change. Some restaurants and hotels do accept credit cards, the general rule is that it is not wise to rely on them.Debit cards are not accepted. It is in general advised to just use local currency.

The Gambia is just one of many countries where the risk of contracting malaria is very real but is avoidable provided adequate precautions are taken. We advise that you contact your GP before traveling who will prescribe the appropriate medication. Although no inoculations are compulsory for entry from the EU, anti-malerial tablets are recommended.

About the Author
Cheap holidays to The Gambia

Choosing the Right Cape Cod Campgrounds

Choosing the Right Cape Cod Campgrounds by Albert Lagesse

So, you've decided you want to go camping on Cape Cod. What next? How do you choose from all the Cape Cod campgrounds available out there? As with most things, the best way to attack the problem is to come up with a plan. You might not think picking out a campground requires a plan, but if you have a plan in place it can make the whole process easier.Ok, the game plan, then, how do you come up with one. The first thing to do is to write down exactly what you're looking for in a camp site.

Will you be camping in a tent, pop-up, or RV? Now when you're browsing all the Cape Cod campgrounds available, you have an idea of which ones you can quickly eliminate from your list of potentials. Once you have a list of what you want, Whether more ameneties, from cable tv, wi-fi and a pool or more private and wooded settings such as one of the state parks for canoeing, fishing, swimming, hiking, and trail bike riding. Decide if you would rather be near the ocean beaches or along side the Cape Cod Canal, or in the woods.

Browse the Internet to find different Cape Cod campgrounds that are available with most of the ameneties yiu desire. Use the list you made to narrow down the possibilities to no more than five-ten. You don't need that many, though, if you know what you're looking for in a campsite. Once you have your short list, you can begin to make a list of pros and cons of the various Cape Cod campgrounds to see if any of the ones you picked jump off the page at you as the place you should go. If it's a close call, you can use online reviews (if you can find them), to add what other people thought about the campground to help you make your decision.

Be sure to check just off Cape Cod as well as you can still do day trips to the cape for your sightseeing adventures.

Remember to make your reservations early as the Campgrounds on Cape Cod will fill up fast during peak season.

About the Author

This author is from just off Cape Cod (New Bedford) and did not realize he had such a passion for the cape before moving away. Now with hopes to move back nearer to Cape Cod soon.

Best Places to Visit in Scotland

Best Places to Visit in Scotland by Paul scottyn

Scotland is full of great places to visit, from Edinburgh Castle to the ski resorts of the Highlands. Whether travelers are looking for peace and quiet or a hustling and bustling city, the country has something for everyone.

Outdoor Activities

Backpackers in Scotland seeking a taste of the great outdoors will find the country is home to some of the best walking and hiking trails in the UK. The Dalbeattie to Colvend Trail is particularly popular for a hiking break. The three-hour walk runs through the Dalbeattie Forest, which is home to a large population of Red Squirrels.

During the winter months, skiing is also a big draw and many Scotland hostels are bustling with travelers looking forward to hitting the slopes. Major ski centers in the country can be found at Glenshee, Glencoe, the Lecht, Nevis Range and Cairngorm.

Scotland is similarly well-known for its salmon fishing and travelers can learn how to hook one of their own with fishing lessons offered at many places such as Aviemore, Boat O Garten and Grantown.

Surfing is another great activity in Scotland, as it boasts some of the best surf spots in Europe. Good breaks can be found along the coats between Edinburgh and Eyemouth.

Culture and Heritage

Scotland has a wealth of cultural heritage sights, including the famous Rossyln Chapel which is located in Roslin, Midlothian. Founded in 1446, the chapel has had many famous visitors over the centuries from Mary, Queen of Scots and Queen Victoria to William Wordsworth and Sir Walter Scot. It was also featured in the Dan Brown novel, The Da Vinci Code.

Another significant Scottish landmark is Edinburgh Castle, built on the site of a dormant volcano. The castle was constructed in the 12th century by David I and was the birthplace of James VI of Scotland (and I of England). It's easily accessible from the many Edinburgh hostels located in the Old Town, with some accommodation even boasting views of the impressive castle.

Stirling Castle, meanwhile, played a crucial role in Scotland's history. Looming over the battlefield where William Wallace (famously played by Mel Gibson in Braveheart) defeated the English in 1297, the castle's Great Hall is the largest banquet hall ever built in Scotland.

The Neolithic village in Skara Brae, 31km north-west of Kirkwall, is also well worth a visit. It is one of the best preserved villages of this era in Western Europe and was only discovered after a storm uncovered it in 1850.

About the Author

Before settling down and becoming a copywriter for Hostelbookers. The lack of developers with the facilities to give credit and loads of apartments unsold is bringing an abundance of bargain properties to the market. That combined with the weakening dollar against the strengthening Euro, and there are very few reasons for Sterling backed investors to pick up one of these bargains, of course with the view of buying-to-hold. Of course, cash-rich Korean's are only too willing and able to snap up Canadian property bargains during the credit-crunch, in the knowledge that they will make a big-profit, even if it takes several years to do so."

Property Abroad have some excellent Canadian properties, including many bargains throughout all the most popular regions of Canada. In Quebec there is a one acre land-plot for an astonishing £22,500, and on the resort voted best in Quebec 8 years running. The developer is offering a wide-range of pre-designed chalets to build on the plots, building cost is around $100 per sq ft. Construction has already begun on some of the plots, and there is a show-chalet available.

The Rouge River development -- on the resort by the same name -- is located on the breathtaking Laurentian Mountain range in Quebec. Buyers are automatically granted fishing rights to the 100-milles of trout-filled river weaving its way through the resort, as well as use of the 100-mile bicycle track running along its banks. The Rouge River resort is a great attraction, and when building is complete immediate growth should be at least 30% on plots and chalets.

Ice-fishing is possible in winter when the bicycle-track becomes a cross-country ski trail, which also weaves its way through the woods up the mountainside away from the river, which compliment perfectly the world-class Alpine ski slopes in Mt-Tremblant , just a 30-minutes drive away, and Montreal just 90 minutes. All this combines to give Rouge River properties incredible all-year-round rental potential, which when added to the low prices of the property compared to those surrounding it, translates to a rental yield of between 8 and 12% according to Liam Bailey.

Though the 2 bed chalet on Rouge River is currently the lowest priced Canada property on Property Abroad, they have many other properties that are currently priced far lower than they were last year, find out more by visiting the site.

About Property Abroad

Property Abroad is rapidly growing into one of the best known, trusted and most successful overseas property portals in the U.K. With a slick dynamic site and very reasonable rates Property Abroad currently has among the most extensive worldwide property listings on the net.

To find out more contact Liam Bailey on liam@property-abroad.com or the team at: info@property-abroad.com

Property Abroad LTD 182 York Road Hartlepool TS26 9EA www.property-abroad.com

Chief Marketing Analyst Liam Bailey liam@property-abroad.com

About the Author

Property Abroad is rapidly growing into one of the best known, trusted and most successful overseas property portals in the U.K. With a slick dynamic site and very reasonable rates Property Abroad currently has among the most extensive worldwide property listings on the net.

To find out more contact Liam Bailey on liam@property-abroad.com or the team at: info@property-abroad.com

Places to Visit in Lake pleasant

Places to Visit in Lake pleasant by Mari milian

Lake pleasant is located 30 miles north of metropolitan phoenix. Deep sea fishing is a fun and enjoyable activity. You can be far out from land, away from everyday stresses. Many places offer deep sea fishing trips that are safe as the skippers are usually experienced both with health and safety and also with the best places to fish.
Deep sea fishing requires more tackle i.e lines. There are two methods of deep sea fishing, bottom fishing and trolling and these methods depend on how deep the fish are located. Trolling uses the method of dragging the lure below the surface. You need to keep the boat at a slow, steady speed. Bottom fishing is where the bait, or lures are dropped to the sea bed from an anchored boat.

You need to ensure deep sea fishing is for you. For example, you may suffer from sea sickness, which, obviously will put a dampener on your day out. I recommend everyone to give deep sea fishing a try.

Source: http://www.carptackle.org.uk

About the Author
J Bartram enjoys fishing. They sit on the very edge of western Europe, just off the coast of Galway and draw visitors from far and wide to see their unique beauty, culture, history and heritage. So spell-bounding are these islands, that they have been ranked as number 7 in the top island destinations in the world by National Geographic in December 2007.
The Aran Islands are a group of three islands situated in Galway Bay, just about 45km off the coast of County Galway in the west of Ireland. These islands are very special places as they have remained one of the last remaining parts of the country, which still bear a very strong sense of Irish culture and language. The islands are 'Gaeltachts' (Irish-speaking areas) and their location has helped them to preserve and protect these traditions against foreign influences on the mainland down through the years.

The largest of the three island is Inish Mór which is just 12km by 3km in size and has a population of about 900 people. It is one of the most popular island destinations in Ireland. It's of huge historical interest with over 50 different historic monuments dotted all over the island, the largest and most impressive being Dun Aengus - a prehistoric fort built during the Bronze Age at the top of a 100 metre high cliff.

The island has unspoilt sandy beaches with clear blue waters, green fields with stone walls, beautiful cliff walks and spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean - it's really no wonder that it has been the setting for a movie and the inspiration for many writers and artists who frequent the island regularly. The main village on the island is Kilronan, which is where visitors to Inish Mór disembark. It's a lively spot during the Summer months, so pop into the local pub for a creamy pint of Guinness and mingle with the locals who will enthral you with the island folklore - which they are very proud of.

Inis Meáin is the middle island and the less visited of the three, so if you really want to get away from it all, head here. It has superb views of the Cliffs of Moher and has become a popular destination for diving due to its clear unpolluted waters. It has a share of historical attractions and an unusual flora and fauna similar to that of the Burren. The island has a population of about 200 people and depends largely on fishing and sheep rearing which is important for making the famous woolly Aran Island jumpers.

Inis Oírr is the smallest one of the islands and has a population of about 300 people. It has a distinctive charm about it and the local folk on the island still very much live a traditional Irish way of life. The little village on the island has a popular Irish pub, which is a great spot to enjoy a traditional Irish music session at its best!

Getting to these offshore islands is a pleasant experience. Most boats to take you to the islands leave from Rossaveal, which can be found about 1 hour west of Galway city. Some companies run a shuttle service between Galway city and Rossaveal Harbour.

The islands are usually explored by foot, bike or horseback. They are a paradise for outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, swimming, diving, surfing or birdwatching.

Visitors also have the option of staying on the islands with B&B and guesthouse accommodation available.

About the Author
Mairead Foley writes for the Ireland travel and accommodation website http://www.GoIreland.com

Visit www.GoIreland.com for all you need to know before visiting Ireland, like what to see and where to go. A bustling harbour, traditional bars and top class seafood restaurants and you've got the perfect holiday destination in Connemara.
The popular seaside resort of Roundstone is located in the heart of Connemara, at the foot of Errisbeg Mountain and overlooking the Atlantic. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery on all sides it's a fantastic base for a relaxing break. Founded in the 1820's by Scottish Engineer, Alexander Nimmo, the village was populated by Scottish fishermen. A Franciscan Monastery was built in 1835 and within 5 years the village had a prosperous fishing industry. Roundstone's name comes from the Irish "Cloch Na Ron" (Rock of the Seals).

The locality has many historical, geological and scenic points of interest. The remains of an ancient monument to St. Brendan can be found on Inishnee (a small island in Roundstone Bay) and you'll also come across the remains of various other Christian settlements on nearby islands. The ruins of a 15th century Dominican Priory can be found 2 miles north of Roundstone.

For a holiday memento the village has a traditional craft centre where you can buy pottery, musical instruments and silver, Celtic jewellery as well as hand crafted stoneware.

If you're a fan of the great outdoors Roundstone has a lot to offer. Nearby Dogs Bay and Gurteen Beach are great for swimming or just splashing about, or you can enjoy a pony trek on one of the famous Connemara ponies. Check out nearby Connemara National Park or you can climb to the summits of Errisbeg Mountain or the 12 Bens Mountains.

About the Author
Helen Kelly writes for the Ireland travel and accommodation website http://www.GoIreland.com

Visit www.GoIreland.com for all you need to know before visiting Ireland, like what to see and where to go. Literally breathtaking and "classic Africa". I was looking forward to revisiting and seeing what had changed in that time and also to seeing some new areas such as the Selous Game Reserve, Pemba Island off Zanzibar and also Tarangire National Park and Loliondo in north. As I covered a lot of ground in this trip, I will just mention some of the highlights.
The Selous Game Reserve is my new favourite safari destination! It is one of the largest game reserves in Africa with relatively few camps in it so there is that wonderful feeling of remoteness. To arrive and go straight to Kiba Point, was a very spoiling start to the trip. It is part of the Sand Rivers set-up, but it is a private camp that is taken exclusively by groups of up to 8 people - it has four extremely spacious and open-sided thatched rooms (more like houses!) looking down over the Rufiji River, the largest river in East Africa.

Complete luxury and brilliantly run, this camp has a great home away from home feeling and it offers a variety of activities.....my favourite being our boat trip upstream into Stiegler's Gorge where we stopped after an hour of game viewing (we saw buffalo, hippos, elephant, giraffe and plenty of birds from the water) to get out onto a beautiful white sandy beach surrounded by rocks and the steep sides of the gorge bursting with life and trees. Here we tried our hand at fly fishing and between us we caught three catfish! What a stunning spot to just stop and be surrounded by nature. Drives take you through beautiful scenery, lush from some recent and much needed rain, and some of us went for a lovely walk through the bush only to find ourselves at the top of a hill with a fantastic 360 degree view and a full bar set up for our sundowners. Fly camping for a night on the river is a must. Being a huge seafood lover, I was delighted to be served some great calamari and red snapper whilst staying at Kiba Point - they are only a short distance from the coast here, so it was a fantastic novelty to be having seafood in the bush!

On to Pemba Island and Fundu Lagoon - the only lodge on the island so you know you are going somewhere special! A short twenty minute flight from Zanzibar you are then met by the Fundu Lagoon car, driven 30 minutes across the island to catch your boat to Fundu itself. It was built by two twin brothers Alex and Marcus and it really is a great place with a very good feeling of space - you can be as social or private as you want and they seem to combine the two effortlessly. There is so much to do here as well if you are not one for lying around on a beach! You can go snorkelling and diving at Misali Island where the water is the most beautiful I think I have seen, crystal clear and visibility over the coral reef was just perfect. You can also go for a walk into the village where the lodge owners invest in community projects, or you can go fishing for your lunch, take a picnic out....you would certainly not get bored here and the friendly and professional staff always seem to be around for advice on what to do next or help you with deciding which cocktail to try for your sundowner! There are so many different places to eat here whether it's on the beach, at the jetty bar, or the pool bar up the hill - or simply in the cool and breezy thatched dining room.

So all in all, Tanzania now provides a huge mix of areas and camps to visit and there are still so many relatively untouched parks to explore. The Selous is definitely one of my new favourite places and Pemba is also a winner location for some great beach time. There is something for everyone here and still so much more to see.......you would not be disappointed with safari or beach here, but you need to remember that Tanzania is a huge country to cover and there is much travel involved! Its vastness and raw beauty is what makes it stick out in my mind as so special.

About the Author
Steppes Travel specialise in holidays to Tanzania, China holidays and South Africa safari.

Plan, Pack and Go.. A Family Vacation on Florida's West Coast

Plan, Pack and Go.. A Family Vacation on Florida's West Coast by Carol Eiseman

Family vacations are a wonderful source of memories and tradition. While there are many exotic and beautiful destination choices, our family's favorite vacation spot is on the West Coast of Florida. For over 25 years we have made it a point to spend time on the sand bar beach strip just south of Clearwater Beach, Florida in Belleair Beach. We rent a three bedroom condo that is right on the beach. Renting a private condo allows us to save hundreds of dollars as it is less expensive than a hotel and we have all the amenities of home. We save even more money by stocking up at the local grocery so everyone can make their own breakfast and lunch. Best of all, we walk out the door and have our choice: a beautiful pool or the Gulf of Mexico. What more could you ask for?
This narrow strip of paradise sits with the Gulf on one side and the bay and intracoastal waterways on the other. This barrier island runs from Clearwater down to St. Petersburg. There all kinds of accommodations available from high rises and hotels to smaller condo complexes or beach cottages. There is something to fit any budget. It is quiet and uncrowded but yet close to lots of activities!

When we want a break from the beach the possibilities are numerous. A 45 minute drive to Tampa and we are at Busch Gardens for a day of fun. If we want to attack the Orlando scene we get up early and make the 90 minute drive. We can spend the day at any of the Disney, Universal or Sea World theme parks and be back at the beach by 10pm.

If we want to stay local, we head 5 minutes up Gulf Boulevard to Clearwater Beach for shopping or water fun. Centrally located in the beautiful harbor, there are boat rides, fishing charters, pirate ships, dinner cruises and even parasailing for the more adventurous. Prices are much more reasonable than in some of the larger, more commercial beach cities in Florida.

Perhaps our favorite tradition is our night at the Clearwater Phillies minor league ball field. Located about 15 minutes from the beach, their stadium is beautiful, clean and family friendly. Tickets are under $10 and the food courts are well stocked with the traditional ball field goodies at bargain prices. You sit close to the field and have a great chance to catch a fly ball! Players sign programs and balls for the kids. They have numerous special events throughout the season including fireworks! It has been a part of every vacation for over 20 years. Of course, you can venture into Tampa and see the Tampa Yanks play at the famous Legends Field.

While we eat home for breakfast and lunch, we explore the local cuisine at dinnertime! Always budget conscious with our big crowd, we seek out the family style restaurants. Our two favorites are in Indian Rocks Beach. Crabby Bills has to be the best seafood restaurant in the state. It casual and fun and family style. Long picnic tables covered with red and white table clothes set the ambiance. Nothing fancy but a party like atmosphere prevails. Beer and soda by the pitcher, fresh seafood on paper plates with great side like coleslaw, fries and hush puppies. It is the perfect family seafood restaurant. Stop into their fun gift shop on the way out!

The second family favorite is an Italian bistro, also in Indian Rocks, TJ's Italian Café. Casual with delicious home made Italian food. The pizza and strombolis are a must! It is an easy place to bring the kids no matter their age! After dinner hop next door to TJ"s Mom's Homemade Ice Cream Parlor for dessert!

What would a family vacation be without a round of miniature golf? Travel another 5 minutes south and you will see Smuggler Cove Adventure Golf right on Gulf Boulevard. Three courses with lots of "pirate theme" holes including waterfalls and an alligator pond.

Family vacations are a great part of establishing family traditions. While our kids are all older from 20-26, we still ALL look forward to our family vacation. We start in later winter, pick some dates and everyone works their vacation schedule. They are welcome to bring along their significant other or a friend. Planning early allows for use of airline miles and assures lower fares. Too late for your family this summer? Start planning now for a fun winter vacation. This August there will 10 of us making memories at our favorite vacation spot in Florida. It will truly be a fantastic family celebration!

Carol shares more great family celebration and tradition ideas from their own family album at http://www.celebrationideasonline.com/family-celebration-ideas.html

About the Author
Carol is a full-time working mother.
